====== Portfolio Notes ======

It's pretty obvious after many months of struggling to get work that my portfolio isn't cutting it as it stands. I think the larger problem is presentation, although the work could always be improved. 

I've made some organizational changes after watching the Udemy UX portfolio (adding some analytical information) but what people seem to want to see, is how something was developed over a span of time. And telling that story concisely is actually quite challenging for me, as when I get into context doing the work, I'm not narrating my life as I go, so I work specifically on a task at hand. I guess some sort of verbal assessment of what I have, or where something stands, I just don't put it into words that often.

it's evident that the "proof" that you know how to do the work, apparently for many hiring managers is how you narrate yourself through it. Otherwise they question whether you know how to do things?

  * Show and narrate the timeline
  * Show how something comes together. 
  * Address beginning, middle and end
  * Show the wireframes, show the write ups, show the tests
  * Show full desktop and mobile variations
