Notes about these systems, use cases, mods, accessories, mounting, etc. First off, drawers are critical vs just boxes to open. Having one toplid box above the drawers means you can get to everything without unstacking. I've invested the most into the modbox units. But also invested a fair amount in the Toughbuilt stacktech accessories that clip in.

Another thing is how to attache things to the sides, such as side cases. The point is being able to get to certain cases even if you've got drawers and boxes on top. Utilizing the sides might mean perfect accessibility to everything important without having to relocate any other box. A worktop helps a lot because you need a surface just like you need a work bench.

One of the most important factor though which makes Miliwaukee one of the winning choices is how the units fasten together, how strong they are in case there's a vehicle accident. Seems like the milwaukee packout is the least likely to separate when stacked. Klein might besecond. After that, it's hard to tell. Stacktech is nicely recessed, that could help. Progear has a nice metal latch to keep them together. Flex cases and Husky Buildout and Dewalt 2.0 might have the weaker of the connectors on the side.

As far as ease of removal. Might be Stacktech, then Husky, then Modbox, then the others after that. Just based on the things that need to be unclipped. Seems like Milwaukee and Modbox are the most likely to get jammed together and hard to remove.

These are the boxes that several tool companies use, including Festool, Mafell and Restoretool. They are probably the lightest and were around the longest. They've also gone through several generations now. Currently in Systainer3. These seem to have added front grabber handles and swapped the position of the top handle so they can be grabbed easier when they are put in drawers.

Well priced set. Drawer units work, has a 4-wheel dolly, drawer units and a work top when available. Huge cost advantage, some of the husky mini boxes fit inside the drawer units. Also the worktop has nice recesses. There are some simple accessories that go on the side lip of the boxes.

Unique in that the 2-wheel handtruck is standalone or separates and so you can decide which box becomes the bottom base box. The metal latches that sit in front of the drawers is a nice touch.
