Some things to be aware of when installing retropie.

• You're going to need a keyboard at least at first
• For Wifi to work you'll need to set the localization / regional / timezone settings.
• For SSH to work it needs to be enabled in Rasp-config
• if you have more than one pi, installed with Retropie, you'll want to change the hostname
• When configuring controller and you don't have certain buttons, just hold down a button and it will skip through that unassigned individual button
• For whatever reason in my pi 3b+ I in KODI I had to set the IP of my network share and user / pass for it to show my Videos folder to play from
